Colds and Cancellations: Don’t Hesitate to Contact Us

With the fall season in full swing, there’s a good chance you’ll come down with a cold or the flu at some point. Even though you do your best to protect yourself, it’s not always enough to maintain your good health throughout the fall and winter seasons.

If you’ve scheduled a massage but are not feeling 100 percent, there’s something we want you to know: it’s okay to cancel your appointment and reschedule for a future date.

Your massage therapist wants to see you just as much as you want to see them – but only if you’re feeling up to it. Here’s what you need to know about canceling your appointment:

·      We have a 24 hour cancellation policy, so try to contact us as soon as you know you won’t be able to make it

·      Don’t push yourself: If you’re not feeling up to it for any reason – even if you’re in the early stages of a cold – stay home and recover

·      Keep an eye out for common signs of cold or flu, such as chills, aches, fatigue, cough, runny nose, sore throat, nausea, and vomiting

If you’re experiencing one or more of these symptoms, cancel early. Once you’re feeling better, reschedule your appointment so you can enjoy it from start to finish. Your body and your massage therapist will thank you for it!
