There’s no way to completely avoid stress in your life. It’s simply something you have to get used to.
However, if you let chronic stress takeover, it can exacerbate many serious health conditions, including but not limited to:
• Eating disorders
• Cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, and abnormal heart rhythms
• Skin problems, such as eczema and acne
• Menstrual problems
• Sexual dysfunction
• Gastrointestinal problems, such as ulcerative colitis and gastritis
Now do you see why it’s so important to fight back against chronic stress?
Fortunately, even if you’re extremely stressed, there are ways to take back control of your life. For example:
• Massage therapy
• Exercise
• Getting more sleep
• Meditation
• Counseling and therapy
It doesn’t matter how you combat your chronic stress, what matters is that you take steps to kick it out of your life once and for all. If you let stress linger, it’ll cause additional harm to your body over the long run – and that’s not a risk you should be willing to take.
