If you can’t remember the last time you took a warm bath, it may be time to change your ways. It may not be something you do every day of the week, but there are a variety of benefits that should pique your interest.
Consider the following:
· Improve your mood: A warm bath in a quiet bathroom will put your mind at ease. As your comfort grows, you’ll find your mood improving in a hurry.
· It can help you sleep better: When you step out of a warm bath, your body will rapidly cool down. This promotes the production of melatonin, which prepares you for a good night’s sleep.
· Relieve sore muscles: Are you sore from a recent workout? How about a marathon? Or maybe you spent too much time working in the yard this past weekend? Regardless of why you have sore muscles, a warm bath will bring you the relief you’re seeking.
· Relief of cold symptoms: If you’re suffering from a cold, give a warm bath a try. The steam from the bath can help loosen mucus blockage, thus giving you the relief you’ve been seeking.
