There are many reasons to look forward to the fall season, but dry skin isn’t one of them.
If your skin tends to dry out during the fall months, here are a few tips you can use this year to fight back:
· Use an all-natural moisturizer: By applying moisturizer at least once a day, you’re able to give your skin the hydration it needs. Subsequently, you’re able to proactively protect yourself against dry skin.
· Don’t take hot showers: A hot shower may feel good, especially as the temperatures begin to fall, but it has the potential to dry out your skin. You don’t have to take a cold shower, but use warm water rather than hot water.
· Choose your soap wisely: Harsh soaps brought to a thick lather have the potential to dry out your skin. Opt for a gentle, fragrance free cleanser that will get you clean without any of the nasty side effects.
Rather than wait for dry skin to affect you this fall, get into the habit of following the tips above. With these on your side, you’ll find it easier to enjoy the fall months without constantly worrying about the best way to treat your skin.
