Even if you get a good night’s sleep, you may not feel your best when your alarm goes off. However, there’s no time to lay around and relax. It’s time to start your day, and you want to do so on the right foot.
Here are some steps you can take to prepare your mind and body for the day ahead:
• Stretch: It only takes five to ten minutes to get in a good stretch. Not only does it wake you up, but it prepares your body for everything that’ll come your way.
• Meditate: Even if you only do this for a few minutes, it’s a great way to clear your head and get into the right frame of mind. For those who constantly worry about the day that lies ahead, meditating will give you peace.
• Drink a glass of water: Dehydration has a way of setting in during a long day, especially if you don’t take time out of your schedule to stay hydrated. Start your day off right by drinking at least eight ounces of water shortly after waking up.
Do these three things for the next couple of weeks and let us know how they make you feel. You may be surprised at what it does for you!
