Are You Seeking a Coffee Alternative?

Even if you’re one of those people who enjoys a good cup of coffee in the morning, there may come a point when you want to cut it out of your life. There are many reasons why you could reach this conclusion, such as the caffeine wreaking havoc on your sleep schedule.

Just because you cut out coffee doesn’t mean you have to throw all other beverages to the curb. Here are three top alternatives to experiment with:

• Chicory coffee: Just the same as coffee beans, chicory root can be roasted into a hot beverage. And while the taste is similar, there’s no caffeine to contend with. Additionally, chicory coffee can help aid the digestion process.

• Lemon water: It may not sound appealing, but give it a try. Not only is it caffeine-free, but there are no calories either. Plus, lemon water gives you a nice shot of Vitamin C when you need it the most.

• Golden milk: This rich, creamy, caffeine-free alternative to coffee is well worth your consideration. You can add honey, cinnamon, ginger, and pretty much anything else that will give your beverage the kick you’re seeking.

Even if you don’t completely replace coffee in your diet, one of these beverages may allow you to reduce your consumption. There’s no better time than now to give them a try.
